AMEN times 1000000

I guess Jill Stein will save us now?

yes I said that at the end about the roth ira.  Did forget about traditional, but was specifically answering about the roth 401k

or transferred.  I went to hawaii first class for 45k Round trip flying on delta while booking through korean air.

no. 18500 is the limit for either/both. Your employer’s match does not count towards that, however. Also, depending on your plan, you probably can add after tax dollars to the account as well(not roth, however) and convert to a roth. Besides the original 18500, you can still do the Roth Ira, though.

For whatever reason, and maybe it is purely anecdotal with our friend group...but we always spend more money when going out with single friends. We always go to a trendier and more expensive restaurants and are more likely to drink several more beers. With our group, the couples typically go home sooner in the

people typically forget about tax and cheap out on the tip

are you adding something acidic to it like tomatoes?

my wife always gets roped into paying more. Her and her girlfriends(usually single) go out for dinner, she has 1 glass of wine and her friends each have 4-5...and then they want to split it evenly. She did it once but I was very proud of her last time when she paid her $30, and her two other friends were left to split

Wow he’s got chicken legs

Indiana is by far the worst state for this. I’ve lived in Illinois most of my life, and never really had too much of a problem with this.

exactly. especially if you live in a city with stop go traffic that abuses the car...I want to get rid of that at 36 months. Chicago 1x/year has a new CRV for $0down and $199/mo. That’s a helluva deal.

This drives me nuts. Everytime someone has a birthday we have to go out to eat, people bring in donuts and pastries and homemade treats all the time. Because I have zero self control with hunger, it’s extremely hard to resist. At home, I learned to just not buy these foods because I can’t just have one. I can’t have a

My dad is a bank president of a small town bank(population of town ~1000). They mostly loan to farmers and the people in the town. He’s always been a very conservative guy, but I remember him talking to me a few years ago about Elizabeth Warren. He liked so much of what she said, but the rules on small community banks

I bought my wife a moissanite ring from a jeweler on etsy. Wife absolutely loves it. It’s a cushion cut with rings of small real diamonds around the stone. Gets nothing but compliments, but most importantly she likes it. Nobody can tell the difference, and as our marriage gets older-I wouldn’t care even if they could.

yeah we rented a 2018 Corvette stingray convertible. Low and wide. Was not about to go on the other side of the island where the rental company does not allow. Anything happened to that car and i wouldve been fucked

We went 3 weeks ago. Left at 5AM. The “amazing” banana bread that everyone seems to talk about tasted like banana bread. My wife made us stop fucking everywhere, which I think added to my misery. The best part, I will say, is a lady selling coconut shrimp/fish and chips at one of the food truckish stops. Fucking

The Road to Hana is the single biggest waste of a vacation day. Terrifying blind single car bridge crossings(i think 57 of them), and the locals do not fucking want you there. There was nothing magical. There are some waterfalls and a few beaches, nothing overly spectacular. Most of the west coast is more beautiful.

Don’t tell anyone except her best friend, in order to get the idea of what she wants as a ring(if you haven’t already talked about it with her). DONT TELL ANYONE ELSE. DONT DO IT ON HER BIRTHDAY OR OTHER HOLIDAY. Don’t make it a spectacle, just do it at a place that is special to you both as a couple. If you don’t
