Is it not possible to love both? I love FFXII/Xenoblade styled active time combat, but I also love Bravely Default/FFX turn based combat.

With 2016 being the year of the messiah of JRPGs, Final Fantasy XV & Persona 5, my New Years Resolution is to finally finish up the games I’ve neglected in both franchises.

While this year was great for JRPGs, 2016 is going to be INSANE.

Fair enough. I get the feeling that the game is absolutely massive though, and there has already been trailer footage of offroad driving (the TGS 2014 trailer), so I wouldn’t rule out the possibility of the driving mechanic having non-linear exploration elements.
