I know a lot of people aren’t going to read this entire thing, but the trees, shrubs, and flowers all actually *did* have to go because they were creating extreme problems with the whole of the lawn that required too much maintenance and that was threatening the extensive underground facilities that exist underneath…

I’m not judging this too harshly. The before pictures I’ve seen were all taken in April/May, at the peak of the season for tulips and flowering crabapples. It would never look that colorful in August anyway, and there may still be thousands of tulip bulbs underground. (Of course removing the trees is really stupid.)

Dean Cameron was the unsung hero of many an 80's and 90's comedy. I remember seeing Ski School when I was 15 and thinking it was hilarious, and I refuse to rewatch it to have that memory ruined.

As someone who was fairly pissed about all their many recent menu changes, my reaction is “good”. Make em feel a little pain. I know this doesn’t really accomplish much but it feels good so there. Long live the 7 layer!
