This is a bad take. Taking more money from the wealthy and giving it to the government isn’t going to make jobs pay more, make education cheaper, or make houses more affordable. (It also doesn’t work the other way... cutting taxes on the rich won’t increase wages either).

The problem is that so few Americans are versed in economics that the lie of trickle down policy seems every bit as plausible as reasonable tax policy to the average American. As I age, I’m finding it harder and harder to believe that the lust to cut education isn’t the ground floor plan to keeping the rich rich and

Well, since nobody else is going to do it..

That Uber cars are owned by individuals is not only the solution, it is the point.

How does the existence of Uber prevent anyone from calling an ADA compliant taxi? Would you be willing to have your personal vehicle heavily modified at your expense for the sake of ADA compliance? Because that’s what makes up ride share fleets: personal, privately owned vehicles.

I agree. Is Uber public transportation? How can common people who part time with ride sharing companies outfit their cars for wheel chairs? This is not even feasible. So either the courts will rule this or sayanora ride sharing.

I disagree on part of this. Yes TFA was a lazy rehash. But Rogue One begs to differ in terms of Disney being risk averse. Rogue One did what no other SW film ever had the guts to do. In fact I think the spinoff films will be the best films in the coming years. I also think we need to hold out hope for TLJ. I think

After listening to 18 months of “Rogue One is going to suck because Gareth Edwards wants to make a gritty war movie and there is no way Disney lets him kill everyone off”, and then actually seeing Rogue One, I’m assigning this article “the hottest take” status.

There’s only one piece of advice that people should offer at commencement addresses: Everybody is an idiot.

Yes, that was the joke they were making.

It’s all about that sweet, sweet data for them to sell. Keep typing away in that plugin. That’s why they are profitable.

No, I get that, but he also provided context. He said that evidence collected over the years indicates that hits to the boards are not an accurate predictor of concussion risk. That’s a claim that may or may not be true- but going after his comments as being unbelievably stupid means that you not only think that the

Dude has a great story. From sleeping in classrooms, to being raised by his grandma where at times he had no bed. All the best to him.

“Had he gone to one of my bogus charter schools, he would have learned civility, politeness, and how to make Gucci purse knock-offs in a basement sweatshop for my benefit.”

There’s nothing that can be done to fix things. This is a war that’s been waging, quietly or publicly at various times, throughout the region for over a thousand years. The US military stepped in shit and is just spreading it around. Anyone familiar with the state of affairs over there is fully aware of how

Trump is more likely to nuke San Francisco than North Korea.

Take, like this update, for it is my status, written for you and for many.

Once again, once you say something on the Internet, it can’t be wrong. It can’t ever be wrong, can it.

Why are you commenting without reading the article? It’s not a fake video, it’s a video of a failed Russia  launch in 2013. It’s very relevant to the article as the article is about the video being passed off as the recent North Korean launch, so posting any other video while talking about this particular video

It’ll be interesting to see how this plays out. At $5mil for 500 lbs, the $/lb is almost an order of magnitude higher than the Falcon 9. So the only way this launcher will be economically feasible is if they can pull in business purely due to the desperate need for a dedicated small satellite launcher.
