I was hoping for a cockpit styled dash similar to the old supra or C7 corvette. I assumed that’s why the dash was so covered up. Guess not...

Why wouldn’t you build them in china?

My mistake was actually buying the car in the first place, but Iended up with a Porsche 914 that turned out to be more rust than solid metal. On a completely unrelated topic, does anyone need any 914 parts?

I made that mistake with my 914

I have a spare running 914 1.7L that i’m taking out of my 914, but its only good for about 80hp

Just got another letter from ford. They delayed my mustang’s passenger airbag to spring 2018. It’s hard to be up to date on recall fixes if it takes a full decade to fix the damn thing.

Not even going to mention that japanese Porsche 914 next to the f40? Its about time for those things to get some recognition

Although my car was cheap to buy (maybe too cheap), i have paid back dearly for my Porsche 914 project car in blood sweat and tears. I’m slowly replacing all of the rust with new sheet metal and upgrading it to what it should have been from the factory. I’m adding a frame stiffening kit, 911 bilstein front suspension

I have not seen the sequel, nor have i seen the original - All i have to say is i completely and unequivocally approve of the name dust 2 glory

They’re out there and not expensive at all. I’m putting a corvair 140 engine in my Porsche 914 and i paid about a thousand dollars all in for the complete car and sold off all other parts to get my money back. You can’t really do much better for a “free engine”

I would have imagined some air cooled action rather than the subie engines. Maybe two corvair flat sixes or three vw type IV engines.

Ironically we’re on opposite sides of the argument. He has a water cooled 911 and i have an air cooled 914. It leads to some... interesting conversations.

It all starts great until Grandpa brings up air-cooled Porsches...

I noticed a distinct lack of the 914, are they still unwelcome even though they are air cooled?

I’m taking out my original 914's 1.7 for a corvair 140 swap. If you want to buy a good running engine (with the efi replaced with a webber carb) then I’m your guy

Shocking
