So weird. I’ve done entire deals over email. Negotiate price, negotiate trade in (subject to inspection), PDF of the paperwork over email so I can make sure it’s legit, drive in, inspect car, inspect trade in, sign, pay and done.

Here in Rochester NY, I see nothing but Nissan Rogues. And after some research, I can see why.

I work in sales at a Ford dealership. Same thing. What really irritates me about the survey is all the items that the customer is asked about that have absolutely no bearing on my performance (appearance of dealership, length of time for delivery, and my personal favorite - level of engagement with dealership - wtf

New Subbie with the illustrious Starlink system. The screen had a bad digitizer and would fail intermittently.

As a data scientist, I’m schocked at the poor quality controls on their surveys. Do they really say perfect scores or nothing? That’s a ludicrous way to interpret customer feedback on Likert scales.

My Honda dealer makes it very clear every time I go there that if I get a survey from corporate Honda that it is 10 or nothing. They tell me each and every time.

The best way is to build a relationship with those that “touch your car”and provide personal, face-to-face feedback:

Slightly off topic, but the first time I brought my ‘14 Civic Si in for service at my local dealership, they asked me why I hadn’t bought it there.

My local Subie dealer has treated me poorly on warranty items because I did not buy my Fozzie from them. Good luck with that rating.

When I sold Hondas that’s how I did it. Always worked.
