I don't think any cars use toroidal CVTs as they can't handle as much torque as a belt and pulley CVT. That's just my limited understanding of it though. They are chiefly used in industrial operations in generators. That said, toroidal CVTs are my favorite to watch.

I had one too and that car was bulletproof. I bought it from my uncle with 210k on the odometer and put another 110k of rough high school kid miles on it. It only ever needed brakes and one alternator.

This was the most ordinary car of the 80s AND 90s. I win.

My Town Car has exactly none of these.

I see what you did there, Ram

Thanks Alex. I'll take Ways You'll Never Catch Me Dying for $200 please.

MANPADS? I thought those were what you had to buy when you became incontinent. Certainly there could exist a better acronym.

I'd love to see one. My dad worked for a mobile home factory for a while and he saw a nail gun fight. A guy just walked up to another guy and put two nails in his head and one in his neck. The guy lived.

That hurts just reading it.

I'm sorry. You're exactly right. I've been programming all day and staring mindlessly at spreadsheets that require me to eschew common sense and be painfully literal. Sometimes it's hard to snap out of that when read stuff and comment. :-/

I'm a nurse, so that makes it a medical term, right? Right?

What an idiot! When you beat someone with a 2x4 you beat their arms, shoulders, legs and upper back. Don't go for the tender parts like head, neck, chest, abdomen, or cocknballs. Sheesh!

Attached is spelled correctly and would have been ignored by a spell checker. :-/

ONG MUST HAVE. Except my ass won't fir in those green chairs.

The Chevrolet Impala. There could be no more difference in the 1994-1996s and the one currently on sale. I think the only thing that makes them similar is the badges and the fact they both have four doors.

...plus it has nasty drum brakes. :-/

I would do things to the Focus RS that would take years of therapy to undo.

My SAAB 9-3 Aero 2.8T self-immolated on the side of the road leaving me stranded last year. So crack pipe all the SAABs! (except the 900 turbos).
