I think the T-wing is used to generate added down force on the rear wing. The Ferrari version looks a little more basic then the Mercedes but my idea is that the vortices coming off the T-wing hit the main rear wing to benefit down force without adding much more drag. It’s similar to the way birds fly in the v-pattern.

Late to the game but if there is any actual aerodynamic advantage it would be caused by the vortices coming off the “T” wing and pressing down on the rear wing. Same concept as birds flying in a V pattern. That’s my guess.

Can I call you Alex?

Yeah and Hyundai needs to make an i20 R-spec

Saw a Model X a week or so ago and man that thing is ugly

Its a Focus ST wagon with the back chopped off and a seat for people taking video or photos. Saw it on Ken Block’s instagram .

I mean it is already a 4 door

Hyundai should make a Focus RS competitor

Im not an artist so here’s my idea....rear silhouette of an M4 slightly leaned either direction with a tire thats lost some air. Under that the Jalopnik logo with the O replaced with an analog tire pressure gage with the hose running under the logo. Also a bumper sticker that says #deflategate or deflategate was an
