I hope so. I'm a sucker for the pulp hero aesthetic (even though I find the original novels mostly unreadable), and I love Shane Black, and it would be great to finally have Dwayne Johnson playing a worthy action hero with some comic relief mixed in.

Love Jenny Lewis. My wife and I have seen her four times (twice solo, once with Rilo Kiley, and once with the Watson Twins as backup), and "I Never" was our first dance song at our wedding.

I absolutely loved Lovage, but they tied into my ridiculous love of sexy, sultry lounge and trip-hop. I miss them and Bitter:Sweet.

I would love that show.

I wasn't aware she did anything like that. My wife loved Glee, but I could never get into her.

It seems like Lea Michele is mini-Idina Menzel and Kristen Bell is mini-Kristin Chenoweth, so they would be the obvious choices. I'm not a Lea Michele fan, although Bell is a delight. Melissa Bemoist could play either part, I think.

I think Salma Hayek is half-Mexican, half-Lebanese, but I don't think she is Muslim.

I desperately wanted to take my wife to NYC to see the Deaf West version of Spring Awakening (as well as Hamilton, for me). My wife has a disability and teaches college courses on critical disability studies and media and diversity, and she was so excited about this production, especially with the first-ever

Except for Eddie Murphy.

I'm a huge Daredevil fan and a huge Brubaker fan. I love noir. But Brubaker's Daredevil run just broke me. Poor Matt, and poor Milla. I've never read anything quite so bleak in a Big Two "superhero" comic.

Simone's absolute peak was the first Villains United miniseries. I loved how she turned Catman from a washed-up loser to a noble, badass antihero worthy of respect from heroes and villains alike, and how he and Deadshot became friends.

Chaykin's art on American Flagg!, especially his layouts, were so far ahead of their time, and so far beyond anything else in the mid-'80s. It's amazing how much of his semi-dystopian future has come true. But damn, he was probably the best artist of that era. I still love the uniform design of Reuben Flagg and the

Deadshot is one of my favorite comic characters, and Olyphant's flippant, sarcastic badass personality just fits him.

Didn't see it, don't want to.

Still seems like a waste to not have cast Timothy Olyphant as Deadshot. If they wanted Will Smith, I think he would have been a better choice for Rick Flag, the no-nonsense field leader.

ALEX Foley?

Having only watched the show once (the Flash crossover), I was just speculating Calista Flockhart might be too expensive to bring to the CW, but I have nothing to base that on.

I've been typing it "Hendricksen"! Why didn't someone tell me? Oh, I've been making an idiot out of myself!

I'm wondering if they can use Superman to split Kara off into the Arrow/Flash/Legends-verse.

I always saw Lance Hendricksen as the Saint, since I knew getting Clint Eastwood for any adaptation would be impossible. Hendricksen is short, but they could definitely make him look the part.
