No rainbow flag sticker on mine, and the “Coexist” sticker is made up of various operating system logos :-P

They went to Oregon and Washington and brought their fucking nanny-state politics with them >.<

If you walk around under the replacement Tacoma Narrows Bridges (There’s two now, one for each direction) there’s still some pretty good size chunks of the old bridge down there visible at low tide.

Be glad it was three parked cars, my friend’s cousin and three of his friends were smeared out of existence because drinking and driving seemed like a fun Tuesday night activity....

I need to do something like you did with the eye bolts in the stake pockets, my Dodge W250 lacks decent tie down spots.

Crosstrek :D

The 620 debuted for the 1973 model year, not 1972. And only the 1973 and maybe the 74 had the 510's short-tail 4 speed, the later ones had a “long tail” 4 speed that was directly interchangeable with the later 5 speed...

I can’t tell from the pics but if this has the factory locking diff(s) it’s worth every bit of that $7200... But I can’t see from any of the pics if it has more than just the center diff lock switch above the HVAC controls. Diff lock was a rotary knob you had to push in and turn, first stop locked the rear, second

When I worked at the dealership, any time one of these came in for service someone in the shop would go “MR 2" and someone else would go “AM ARE NOT!”

I’m not sure if it was or not, my dad is allergic to garlic so if we ate out it was a handful of places that we knew were safe for him. I seem to remember there being a place like that, but we never went. I live outside of Portland now, and there are those types of places ALL OVER.

More than once I opened the door of my SVX, bent over to pop the fuel door and got my head slammed into the dash by the auto belt that would suddenly decide to work.

I lived in Auburn from 1987 until 1995, my mom would make my dad drive across that bridge, and close her eyes. Once we took the old highway, which snakes down into the canyon and then back up the other side, and she got carsick... There’s a couple of crazy youtube videos of people walking out on the girders and stuff.

A lot of places that use dot matrix and other impact printers, do so because they’ll print on a triplicate form (Where the top paper is printed on, and it makes a transfer onto the other layers of paper below), and that paper has a unique smell, which is probably what you’re thinking of.

Minor nit, the automatic in these is a four speed (U140) , the Camry didn’t get a 5 speed auto until the generation that followed this one.

First generation Toyota Sienna, with a manual swap and a TRD supercharger, but outwardly appearing like your standard soccer mom mobile :-P

Good taste in music too! Glad you got ‘im!

I see more flaming assholes in H2s (and their Karen equivalents in H3s) than I do in these... Like, bruh, get over your small dick, it’s just a Suburban with a different body.

Pretty much any Mazda B engine is a straightforward swap into one, and pretty much any of them are going to be a power upgrade over stock... But the turbo engine definitely how I’d roll :-P

Fun fact - because it’s basically a Ford-badged, Kia-built Mazda, it’s reletively simple to swap in a larger, more powerful Mazda engine (I’ve ever heard of someone shoehorning the engine out of a 323 Turbo in one)

In my neck of the woods that would be a F150 or Ford Escort, and the odds of at least one person in the car speaking Spanish would be about as good as the odds of the Browns having a losing season :-P
