I really hope she runs the Gambler 500 in one

Can’t decide whether she will be crying in the corner, or excited over all the cheap Smarts she can hoard :-P

I think you mean center /console/, unless there are three lawyers in one of the pics and you’re talking about the one in the middle :-P

I have driven nothing but manuals for the last 7 years or so, and finally succumbed to getting a Prius for my 55 mile each-way commute, and every now and again when I’m coming to a stop I reach for the nonexistent shifter (and occasionally mash the brake thinking it’s the clutch).... But then I get into my manual

This is borderline, but CP because slushbox.

VVT-i like in the 1ZZ is just cam timing, and IIRC it’s only on the intake cam. The 2ZZ-GE that was used in the Celica GT-S, Corolla XRS, Matrix XRS, and the Vibe GT, has VVTL-i which adds variable lift as well, it’s more or less VTEC as it has multiple cam profiles. And it doesn’t kick in until 7500 RPM or so, it’s

Because Scion iQs are poseurs :-P they have four seats! heathens!

The difference is the Yugo will break and leave you trying to find replacement baling wire and zip ties and the proper eastern bloc spec chewing gum to get it going. David’s jeep will just break in half or give you tetanus trying to fix it :-P

CP because it’s going to cost me time/trouble to replace those God-awful wheels and the brodozer grille... Although the wheels you could probably sell in just about any Wal-Mart parking lot... Or find someone who has a stock Sequoia and wants the brodozer look who’d trade :-P

The last time I was at the track, was at Sears Point for NASCAR time trials, and it was like $9 for a Budweiser... So how I drank at the track and didn’t die was I sipped at one $10 microbrew and called it good :-P

I’d suggest a Tribeca (versus the B9) as it’s got the beefier 3.6 liter H6 in it versus the underpowered 3.0, plenty of room for your dog, AWD for snow, and unlike the 4 cylinders of the era, they are not plagued with head gasket problems.

It’s got a big enough tank that you can get from the gas station to your house and then back to the gas station.

so now i take the longer more land cruiser...y...way

Considering my 1987 GL turbo wagon used to smoke most NA things that would otherwise have kicked my ass at sea level, I’d say pretty good :-P

I think it’d depend on mileage and how well it’s been maintained. If it’s got under 100k it’s a good price, if it’s got 200k but been otherwise taken care of, maybe more like 8k.

Really? Is that why I was forced to get new plates/tabs with the last car I bought? Even though the car had current tabs? And why the clerk at the licensing office told me that the plates stayed with the owner and I had to get new ones?

Silicone, pop rivets, and a road sign scrap of sheet metal should help with the rust holes! Either that or flex seal, cardboard, and Gorilla tape :-P

In Washington the plates go with the owner, so when you title it you’d get new plates and tabs.

I have a friend who has hand controls in her car, there’s a lever on the steering column - pushing in on it activates the brakes, rotating it is the accelerator. Bit weird getting used to it the few times I had to drive her car :-P
