Even Thorne-Smith, who clearly is annoyed with Norm near the beginning of the bit, is brought to tears of laughter by the end. Incredible.

The 1997 appearance on Conan with Thorne-Smith is the best video on YouTube. It’s simultaneously hilarious and oddly genuine (heartfelt?) and I have watched it over 100 times. The set-up leading to “is it spelled B - O - R - E - D” is the funniest thing I have ever watched. 

I saw Deafheaven open for Baroness a few years back. The band played an incredible set. The lead guitarist was wearing a Fugazi t-shirt (a band that was famously anti-merch), the fans in the audience head-nodded quietly to the aggressive music, and there was an abundance of clove ciggies.

Fair enough. I can’t argue with anything said here. But, I still think the article above is a little too loose with it’s defense of Argento who is by all accounts an awful human being.
