Absolutely. Usually I’m climbing but I have done some day hikes in Lost Canyon and Ice Box Canyon, and they were well worth it. My only suggestion would be to stay out of Calico if you’re looking for isolation. Have fun! 

Aside from the plethora of awful right-wing media outlets, Buzzfeed is the most certain indicator of the downfall of productive journalism.

BECAUSE THOSE ALBUMS ARE BAD.

This is the album we deserve. 

This album is amazing. 

I mean yeah, the new James Blake is great, which was expected. But, after listening to it a dozen times, I had to listen to something else. So, very unassumingly I put on the new Sharon Van Etten. HOLY SHIT. I’d never listened to her before, what a shame. Remind Me Tomorrow is the best album of 2019.

Watching the first season of True Detective while it aired is one of my favorite TV-related experiences. S2 was so terrible it made me doubt S1 so much that I refused to go back and re-watch it. When I heard Ali and Saulnier were attached to S3, I finally decided it was time for a proper rewatch.

This type of adversity is exactly what these kids needed! 

Yes, it’s expensive, but the return is worth it. As the author suggests, if timed correctly, you can easily get away with two meals spaced well apart. And, the food quality is very, very high and the options substantial. 

I’ve spent a lot of time in Vegas over the years. As a rock climber, I am drawn to the nearby Red Rock National Park and the drive from my home base makes a long weekend away very tolerable (if you’re ever in Vegas, go check out RR!!). I love AOC and desperately hope the Party encourages and supports more people like her to run for office. That being said, why criticize people for pointing out that she does, at times, flirt with conflating facts and other misstatements? I think those are genuine criticisms of AOC.
