Emergency & I is a stunner. Enjoy!

The Expanse is a stunning omission.

Annihilation

That three song stretch from Skipping School to Miki Dora is brilliant. It's all bittersweet nostalgia and reflection and I love the shit out of it.

fyi, the new Amen Dunes album is tremendous and should be on any list of 2018's best music.

AGREED.

Everything is Love?  You’ve got to be kidding me.

Well you did say “most rap music,” I wasn’t suggesting that they are indie acts. Certainly, none of them focus on their wealth in their musical output, which was the point I was trying to make.

Most rap, yes. This? Absolutely.

Isn’t that what this is?

This album has its moments, sure. But I really grew tired of the two of them talking about how rich they are and how much they love one another about three tracks in. I mean, come on.

As a super fucking lame straight horny white male teenager, I thought D.E.B.S. was the coolest shit ever.

I’m with ya. No More Parties in particular hosted a HUGE Kanye verse. And it’s great to hear him rapping again on Kids See Ghosts, and I would rank his verse on Reborn as one of his best ever.

TLOP has some real stunners on it though. Real Friends, Ultralight Beams, No More Parties, 30 Hours, and Waves are all unquestionably great West songs. The problem is the rest of the album.

Yeah... the reviews are kinda baffling to me.

This album is gripping, and I’m slightly stunned by its somewhat lukewarm reception.

I do not think so. And I think you’re right.

I don’t have a particular moment that especially sticks out. Certain early episodes of No Reservations will always remain, the Rome episode (black and white) and Montana are all-timers. Also, he managed to give the best interview of Barack Obama during the entirety of his presidency.

I know it’s easy to ignore/overlook Kanye West right now given his insane antics and terrible solo release, but KIDS SEE GHOSTS is surprisingly great. Can we get a review pleaaaassssee?
