I would go so far as to say that his score for “The Empire Strikes Back” is one of the 100 greatest musical works of the 20th century. He absolutely should be considered as one of the great composers in history.

Cloud Atlas erasure!
Yeah, Mr. F is definitely my favorite episode. The Rita stuff is of course stuff that you couldn’t do now, though the joke is mostly on michael/bluths and not anyone with disabilities. The jetpack bit though, both the training video, and when george michael uses it is absolutely incredible. I was definitely on the…
Maybe?? I haven’t watched it in a while, but if I remember correctly, most of the action in the movie is because things start happening that make him question his reality (e.g. a light falls from the sky, it rains only where he is standing, he notices the choreography of the townspeople, he sees behind an elevator to…
I was shocked that they referenced Gilbert Kaplan! Field apparently had very little classical music knowledge, but did a crash course with John Mauceri while writing the movie. Still, Kaplan is so relatively obscure, except among Mahler fans or serious classical music fans that I’m amazed that he came up as a direct…
I love that Philip Glass’s official Twitter account sometimes references his “appearance” in this episode.
My first thought seeing these headlines for “Indiana Jones fights”...has been ...at the buffet line?
Yoda is probably my favorite of his just because the source material is so great. Other honorable mentions: That’s your horoscope for today (let me give you my assurance that these forecasts and predictions are all based on solid scientific documented evidence so you would have to be some kind of moron not to realize…
From what I have briefly read, this movie is to horror what “Back Door Sluts 9" is to p*rn.
If you like that environment, check out Linden Boulevard Multiplex. I saw Get Out there, though after most of the hype had died down and it was still a fun crowd.
Would have been hysterical if it had happened 20 years later though.
I think Beyond was my favorite just because it didn’t actively piss me off like st’09 or st:Id did. I like the cast though. Obviously, anton yelchin’s death was a tragedy and I hope they don’t recast. I definitely don’t need another movie though I would probably watch it if they made one.
There’s a Potbelly’s sandwich chain from Chicago. Similar to Quiznos since most of their sandwiches are meant to be toasted. Not my favorite place, but not bad in a pinch.
I was very much getting Elizabeth from the Americans.
Are you referring to Almost Live? I assume you are in the Seattle area? I’m a New Yorker but comedy central syndicated almost live in the early 90s. This was before McHale was on that show, though Bill Nye was on it. Nye used some almost live people for his science show.
Don’t forget the poems!
I have Superman III on DVD. I got a set with the 4 Reeve movies. I really liked it as a kid. Richard Pryor! Drunk Superman! Superman fights a video game! But yeah, I’m sure it doesn’t really hold up. Need to watch it again, probably while high.
WGN. Somehow I think if it was UPN, it wouldn't have been cancelled after 2 seasons.
Fyi, you're dead naming Emily St. James.
That is correct! We also would have accepted bedbugs or COVID.
