Okay, for the “I didn’t know Jews were like this” crowd, there’s a bunch of different sects of Judaism. I’m a day school educated reform Jew, so bear with me here. I understand what follows is very general and lumps large groups of people together, but for the purpose of understanding:

Generalizations are shitty. Twitter gave us a “generalize all you want” ticket, by allowing us to make fun of people who say “not all X” as a quick-and-easy rebuttal for our outgroup homogeneity bias.

Maybe if Judaism were the dominant religion in this country.
