I mean, a CRX is just a really low crossover tbh. Come at me bro
No, Skankhunt. Fucking trolls man I swear
Yes
It’s literally for the Tesla cool factor. That’s it!
Well fuck you - Detroit
This is the coolest, cleanest, absolute BEST deal you’ve found for us in 2017. Excellent price!
They will both post similar autocross times if that’s what you mean, and the 0-60 time is pretty much the same (will depend on your launch). The Focus ST is a lot bigger and heavier, so the extra power and torque just helps close that gap.
2nd gear: Bro, it’s not the mazdas bro, it’s the Super Duties bro! That’s the future bro!
We have the 2.0 escape too, and truth be told - I actually enjoy driving the thing! lol
It handles really well and has great get up and go.
The explorer is what I would have wanted to get, but my wife thought it was too big for her. They also handle great and when optioned with the 3.5 ecoboost will really scoot. The…
I’m going to call bullshit on that and refer you to a list of all the current Ford cars that support Ford being not boring:
-Focus ST
-Fiesta ST
-Raptor
-Ford GT
-Mustang GT
-Mustang ecoboost
-Mustang GT350
-Fusion Sport
-Explorer Sport
-Focus RS
-Edge Sport
-Fiesta 1.0 ecoboost (I love those fucking things)
There just isn’t a…
Mazda is the only one I could think of, and maybe Subaru, but when you look at both, most of their cars are still very meh. the Mazda 3 is 50/50, good for what it is, but still a commuter car. Miata = good, and then the CX lineup is freaking crossovers (something I actually like, but many seem not to) - they’re good…
Most of them are not boring or most of them are?
Can you show me any other OEM with a lineup in those segments that isn’t bland and boring? Every single automaker has boring ass cars because the segments demand boring ass cars. That’s what sells.
I realized if I stopped drinking craft beer and stuck to the Natty I could afford one......we’ll see if it’s worth it *fingers crossed*
The woman in the article isn’t making a living - she’s on disability for painful bladder syndrome, so your logic doesn’t apply.
That’s true, it could be a chart for the Si, that would make more sense.
I just mentioned this in another comment, but I can’t believe that dyno is showing whp. If that was the case a stock civic turbo making 190+ whp means 211 at the crank...that’s a 20% discrepancy between OEM quoted numbers and actual. I am aware turbo engines often perform over OEM quoted, but 20%? idk...
I am 99% sure that dyno chart is not at the wheels but at the crank. I know for a fact the 1.5 doesn’t make 190whp stock. And not to argue, but even if the manual trans only sapped 10% of power, that would mean the 1.5 is making 250 crank @ 225 to the wheels. Call me a skeptic but I ain’t buyin it!
Just thought I’d point out that the Automotive News article is wrong:
