If you’re working that many hours a week you’re just plain stupid, stupid.

“There were times when I would crunch up to 13 hours a day—a little bit over that was my record probably—and I would do five days a week working like that,” Adrian Jakubiak, a former audio programmer at CD Projekt Red, told Bloomberg. “I have some friends who lost their families because of these sort of shenanigans.”

Star Wars is about plucky rebels defeating a giant technocratic empire. And while not pointed out in the films too much, the Empire believes in human supremacy, while the Rebel promotes diversity.

Okay, enough of the damn Anna Kendrick casting already. Have you seen that girl’s arms and legs? They look like they’re as skinny as 2 1/2 pound axe handles. Milana Vayntrub is the only acceptable answer. My Squirrel Girl should like she should could swing an axe without it causing body-wide spiral fractures on impact.

That whole situation is super weird. They shot the pilot, they focus tested it and it supposedly tested excellently...but then Freeform dropped it before it aired, sending it back to Marvel, who shopped it around to various networks and apparently everyone passed on it. Disney owns multiple basic & cable networks,

Give us Milana Vayntrub Squirrel Girl already! Outside of the animated stuff I mean.

Maybe we’ll see the New Warriors on Disney+ eventually.

This is sad.

As for production drama and who left or stayed, leave it to the tabloids.

No clue, I talk with my therapist about this a lot because I have zero confidence in myself, despite being successful in a pretty demanding industry. It’s the whole Dunning-Kruger effect where knowing how much you don’t know (working with highly educated people will do this) tends to make you pretty humble in terms of

Everyone needs to watch that video to remove any doubt that she was at fault for trying to breach a door with an armed guard behind it.

This was the first team-up movie that really worked, greatly surpassing the standalone films, Bedknobs (1966) and Broomsticks (1969).

This image is the exact parallel I saw when Shand sat down on the arm of the throne.

Maybe they should have pulled those games. Maybe if these digital storefronts stop carrying broken games it would give publishers incentive to not release broken games. CDPR doesn’t care about you dude, you gain nothing by defending them.

SNL is always funnier “5, 10, 15, 20" years ago. The new cast is never as good as the last one. I think the one from whenever you were 16-18 (1989-1992 for me) is always the best one.

No, it wasn’t any funnier. It’s always been hit or miss (mostly miss). You just remember the good skits from the past and forget all the crappy filler. Honestly, go watch a few complete episodes from back in the day and see how much is terrible.

People have been saying this exact same thing since 1995. (People were saying similar things earlier, but depending on when you might have to swap “1 year ago,” “5 years ago,” or “10 years ago” in for “20 years ago” out of necessity).

Dharna, I don’t think you get it.

It takes him, what, five seconds to put it on but you’re saying when faced with an unknown enemy in a landing craft and a long run back to the child he just leaves it against a rock?

Well you could find that version of the story on really any other website talking about this. You just happen to be reading it on site whose main focus is videos games and other pop culture which undeniably non-science community people are most likely to know this from...so you know.
