Yup. There’s a reason why the phrase “May you live in interesting times” is a curse.
Knowledge about what we buy is useless if they can’t develop something as good as those things. There’s still the whole, you know, game development aspect of it. It’s not like data is some free pass to instant money.
They’re being stubborn and trying to just drop into these huge games with very little experience. It’s…
wired did a really good write up https://www.wired.com/story/amazon-wants-to-win-at-games-so-why-hasnt-it/
Game development is an extremely difficult endeavor on all fronts.
On behalf of the white folks, I’d just like to say...fuck them, and I remind them all the time.
They obviously don’t listen to any lyrics. They love Born in the USA and Fortunate Son too....
As other’s have said, introducing new ships will be a balancing act, because if you add one, you have to also add it’s counterpart, and also as other’s have said, some starships are objectively better than their counterpart and have, no counter.
Christie just announced he has it.
The ships are all really classes in this game. Introducing a new ship in this game style would be introducing a new class, not just a new playable character like you’re thinking. So they would need an Imperial counter to the B-Wing and decide how the new class would be balanced against all the others and the big Fleet…

I have no idea why almost every streaming service has this issue. It’s not crazy to think that maybe I watched 2-3 episodes of a show and didn’t like it and have no intention of ever finishing it.
Great cameo by Garnet from Steven Universe:
Not only that, but even a cursory glance at the novel would have told you the source material is built the same way.
The book is the same. It’s basically a short-story collection with a very loose through-line about Caleb Braithwhite.
I mean, at the second episode, it was very clear that this was an anthology series with through-lines, and I don’t know that it’s fair to expect things to wrap up in a cohesive fashion. That’s not what the show’s trying to do.
Pretty sure it’s from Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. It was intended as a “the drug that’s actually as bad as people say drugs are” kind of thing.
I think you have to adjust your expectations to fit the world we live in. It’s been decades since video game consoles have embraced online connectivity to release patches, updates, DLC and other content. It’s a very rare game these days that is released on physical media and never subject to at least a patch or update…
I don’t see it as quite the same. I figure it was the devs finding a way to give themselves more time to work on seasonal features while also making sure (for the first year at least) those seasonal features weren’t “spoiled” or shown off early.
As someone who doesn’t use time traveling in AC, the biggest change for me…
