Possibly the chieftan, but I sense the Tusken who trains Boba is female. I know the female Tuskens had different headwear in Attack of the Clones, but Disney seems to have largely abandoned that and the tribe in this series seems to be more advanced and egalitarian than ones we’ve seen previously.

Now playing

There are more flashbacks to come, so don’t hold your breath.

You need to start reading the social media clauses in your employment agreements. Especially if you live in an At Will Employment state in the US (ie most of them), employers can fire you for any reason. Chances are you signed something similar to this, which gives them all the justification they need if you post

Why would he? He hates that planet almost as much as Anakin did. And during this time, he’s trying to rebuild the Jedi Order and is out with Lando and Lor San Tekka hunting for Jedi artifacts.

Considering the New Republic has been sending the owner of Kim’s Convenience to patrol the Outer Rim, I don’t think they have the resources to keep Tatooine under control. :P

Not a protocol droid. Boba specifically says they need to get one. :)

He was the voice of 8D8, the court droid (or UK2-B as IMDB labels him).

The Bacta is repairing the damage both wrought by the Sarlacc and his extended exposure to the Tatooine suns while under captivity with the Tuskens. Notice how his face looks in the Tusken camp flashbacks vs. the current scenes with Fennic.

8D8, the smelter droid who used to work for Jabba the Hutt

That was what many people thought because of some poor communication early on (like saying the next season of Mando would debut in Dec 2021, then unveiling Book of Boba with a Dec 2021 date at the end of season 2.)

That’s Disney+ trailer editing 101: 99% is from the first couple of episodes with a teaser shot or two of the back-half of the season, if any.

The history of Star Wars’s audio mix is pretty crazy. As I mentioned in my reply to the OP, I had a bootleg VHS of the mono mix of Star Wars, which has significant differences. Some of the fan restorations of the original theatrcal cut of Star Wars even include alternate audio tracks.

My dad brought home VHS bootlegs of Star Wars (pre-episode 4) and Empire Strikes Back in 1981. I don’t know where he got them, but bless him.

That was the point: the original versions of the OT have not been restored or remastered since 1993, so for all intents-and-purposes they’re lost to all but the most hardcore fans willing to watch on obsolete media or seek out unofficial fan projects like 4K77.

You just described a perfect first season of the show, as the OP suggests. I don’t see the problem here.

No Black Series Ackmena & rat for Life Day merch?

One of the primary reasons why I left game development after 25 years. Fucking armchair game designers talking out their asses with no understanding of what is actually involved in game development, and villainizing devs in the trenches who have no agency in most of the decision-making at large studios.

The Black Sun was in The Clone Wars, as was Xizor’s species (if not him specifically) - https://www.starwars.com/databank/black-sun

And IMO [Finn’s] endgame should have been breaking the stormtroopers from their brainwashing and leading them in rebellion against their FO masters.

Well said. Nostalgia’s a helluva drug.
