I wonder about the psychology behind that. Is it because inmates think, “I’m bad but I’m not that bad.” Or does the presence of a predator bring up their own childhood trauma? Or do they enjoy violence and this is the only socially “acceptable” form of violence available to them? Like Dexter, IRL.
