Don’t sweat the difficulties, Albert. If we know one thing about gamers, it’s that they’re not particularly hypersensitive to any sort of direct or even indirect criticism about their hobby.

You mean “silly and useless” isn’t a logical, coherent argument against using them?
We could start a kickstarter for an investigation to find out.
Exactly. Being a “gamer” is more than whether you choose to play Candy Crush on your phone while you’re taking a dump. It’s about being passionate about gaming and preferring it to other forms of entertainment. If there’s a football game on TV when I turn it on I’ll probably watch it, but that doesn’t make me a sports…
A response can’t get much more concise and accurate than that! Funny, that same thing about gaming has been said in many different forms for years now, and yet here we are, at the start of the largest, quickest-growing, console generation in years!
That’s not “the way it should be” when the games get their length from busy work, meaningless tasks and hordes of identical enemies. If the activities advance the story or your understanding of the skill system, it’s all good. Otherwise, just let me move on to another game, for Christ’s sake.
Why the hell would a 3rd person camera have bobbing anyway?!
Let’s do what they did in the last realistic looking Zelda Tribute “Meh this sucks, too realistic. I’m a super critic blah blah blah” I think this is amazing and give this artist 3 thumbs up. The third thumb is up some critics ass.
Can we stop this trend on the internet where we act as if only you should only comment on an article or game in question if you’ve got something positive to say?
People can comment on why they don’t like X thing too. Its not wrong.
Cool, thanks for stopping by to let us know how not interested you are.
I think you mean it can’t catch a break. The Vita’s been taking a break for years now.
How did you not?
Because they live in Japan.
Read the article. The statement is taken out of context and is meant to say that looks should not matter is regards to the hardware. Unfortunately it sounds like you already made your mind up about him and the product before.
I think he’s just saying that people who buy the Oculus Rift don’t care how the thing actually looks as long as it functions, or maybe he’s speaking in regards to “fashionable technology” like Apple products. Not necessarily fashion in general.
Imagine if the content creators that worked on this were actually paid for that work. Think about how amazing the content we could get would be if some of these modders could make it a full time job by charging for mods.
The point of VR is never, and will never, be to look cool in real life. The point of VR is to immerse yourself in a game entirely, so... yeah.
Scott's a dick.
