You mean “silly and useless” isn’t a logical, coherent argument against using them?
You mean “silly and useless” isn’t a logical, coherent argument against using them?
We could start a kickstarter for an investigation to find out.
Exactly. Being a “gamer” is more than whether you choose to play Candy Crush on your phone while you’re taking a dump. It’s about being passionate about gaming and preferring it to other forms of entertainment. If there’s a football game on TV when I turn it on I’ll probably watch it, but that doesn’t make me a sports…
A response can’t get much more concise and accurate than that! Funny, that same thing about gaming has been said in many different forms for years now, and yet here we are, at the start of the largest, quickest-growing, console generation in years!
That’s not “the way it should be” when the games get their length from busy work, meaningless tasks and hordes of identical enemies. If the activities advance the story or your understanding of the skill system, it’s all good. Otherwise, just let me move on to another game, for Christ’s sake.

I humbly appologise for my incorrect useage.
Oh, the days when you actually had to spend a grand or two on a gaming PC. When you had to futz around with IRQs to get even simple hardware like a mouse working. When you had to have separate boot disks for each game, each with meticulously crafted memory settings to get the damn things to play. When “online gaming”…
I think he’s just saying that people who buy the Oculus Rift don’t care how the thing actually looks as long as it functions, or maybe he’s speaking in regards to “fashionable technology” like Apple products. Not necessarily fashion in general.
Ah, so you do care!
Imagine if the content creators that worked on this were actually paid for that work. Think about how amazing the content we could get would be if some of these modders could make it a full time job by charging for mods.
