I have yet to meet a woman who didn't like my 68 Cadillac, however.

A little piece of electrical tape will fix you right up!!

I wouldn't call the HG issues normal in any way or even common, but they were the biggest issue.

They had some head gasket issues, but no more than the WRX or STI did using the same (more or less) engine. Mine had about 30K on the clock when it got traded for a Legacy GT wagon, so I never had any powertrain issues even after a full STI swap and custom tune.

These are the people who will be running the country in 20 years. w00t.

In before the "Next-Gen graphics are meh" guys........

I've seen better clouds at a High Times convention. Do it right!!!

THANK YOU!!!

Pretty much. The tip-forward one piece front ends and glass trunk lids have been popular with drag racers for a long time. Glass can be nice, but usually requires a LOT of prep to get it as smooth as metal, if you can at all.

I have a Border Collie that understands more English than most people who work telephone customer service, and a cat who can't find the break in the curtains so she can look outside, and gets lost in the same house she's lived in for the past 7 years.

There's a couple of companies making fiberglass bodies as well, but NOPE!! Not when steel is available.

Yes, because YOUR car has been fine, all of them were.

So the Camry having a less powerful 4 cylinder, and the Accord having a more powerful 6 cylinder is justification now. Amazing. But it's true. GM was all about being vanilla and content to be mid-pack back then.

OK, so other GM engines not sucking, and other brands making shit engines is justification for a 5hp bump over the 4 cylinder. Gotcha.

Yup, that's it!!

So that's justification for such a pathetic power bump over the 4 cylinder? Plenty of engines can make great hp/liter AND be dead-nuts reliable.

A 5hp difference (and a mere 30 lb/ft of torque) between the 4 and 6 cylinder models. My God, how is GM still in business?

A buddy of mine has a really cherry 55 Bel Air hard top, but he kinda did it a disservice with big chrome 20s. He's been after mine for several years, lol.
Dynacorn may not do the 55 bodies yet, but several companies do. Combine that with an Art Morrison chassis or something similar, and you can build a complete 55

A Gasser is a style of drag racing car. Typically noted by its raised front end, for better weight transfer to the rear wheels upon launch. As technology improved (particularly in suspension and tires), Gassers kind of faded away. Today, there is a pretty big resurgence of Gassers in the Nostalgia Drag scene. They're

I've seen a few subtle custom 58s that I liked, but it was such a radical departure from the tri-five style that it was pretty jarring to Chevy fans of the day. Chevy knew it, and that's why the 59 was another big change.
