I think it’s interesting how their are over 40k deaths a year in automobiles each year (in the USA), but if people die in a Tesla it’s treated like an airline disaster.

the Operations mode in multiplayer does a fantastic job of highlighting the futility. you throw waves and waves of men against each other with artillery, poison gas, aerial bombardment and bayonet charges...plus 32 players on each side unloading constant rifle onto each other. Operations really feels more like one

it’s literally using Frogger sounds, which came out in 1981. and that font was in lots of Namco games, like Pacman which came out in 1980.

That rifle looks an awful lot like The Jade Rabbit exotic weapon from Destiny. It’s not the same looking at them side by side, but the general shape and the coloring are very similar. Still, pretty cool artwork.

It’s a co-op game, there isn’t a pvp mode in Borderlands (as far as I know.) So it’s the whole game. However the article is a bit misleading, it is only free for the weekend.
