it’s literally using Frogger sounds, which came out in 1981. and that font was in lots of Namco games, like Pacman which came out in 1980.

That rifle looks an awful lot like The Jade Rabbit exotic weapon from Destiny. It’s not the same looking at them side by side, but the general shape and the coloring are very similar. Still, pretty cool artwork.

I have to agree with what this article says, I was hoping this was more about higher frame rates and draw distances for existing games. It’s a co-op game, there isn’t a pvp mode in Borderlands (as far as I know.) So it’s the whole game. However the article is a bit misleading, it is only free for the weekend.
