I just purchased a one-owner 2006 V70R (6 speed auto) with 58k miles for 13,500... 8k is a lot for 150k miles and 14 years old..... Plus its the first year they sold the R’s so more issues.

Pretty much any Volvo has a bunch of parts on and around engine that require extensive disassembly in order to work on. I’ve been working on Volvos for 10 years and whenever I work on anything else it is WAY easier and goes much faster.

That fuel economy is pathetic..... My 2004 (13 YEARS OLD) Volvo V40 has a 2 liter turbo, weighs 2900 (I always have at least 350 extra pounds in there - so really around 3250) and I get 33mpg driving 85% city...
