I did like 100 passes on MT82s behind a few different engines and never had a problem with them. You can find lots of videos online of guys shifting these transmissions with some muscle, and they take it.

It shouldn’t be a shock that the big parts-chain clerk making minimum wage didn’t want to put the effort into figuring out your battery, or didn’t have the experience/knowledge to figure it out even if he wanted to.
I don’t have anything against a 4-cylinder Mustang, but who in their right mind wouldn’t step up to the V8 when this thing would cost somewhere between $31,410 and $35,355? No, don’t tell me about gas mileage, or how you want a lighter front end... V8! V8! All hail Vee Eight!
