That’s maybe the most depressing thing I’ve heard today.

Truly one of the most embarrassing articles this site has ever run. Rock bottom shit. And I cannot tell if the author actually believes what they’re peddling, or if they’re just being a troll trying to get traffic for a site that used to matter by becoming the exact thing it avoided being for years.

Yeah, I have no opinion either way. I think South Park’s reputation is a little overstated and pearl-clutchy. But it feels like everyone who is still watching the show still thinks it has stuff to say.

All lists are subjective, but I gotta say (legally obligated, even): Freddy vs. Jason is a TERRIBLE Friday the 13th movie. As a Nightmare movie? Sure. It makes a lot of sense. As a movie about Jason mowing down hapless teens? One of the worst in the franchise.

I don’t know, man. You’re the ones still giving the show decent reviews.

It may have been edited since, but it says “provably false” now.

She’s incredible in Scream. She’s very winning in her other ‘90s movies--Never Been Kissed, The Wedding Singer, Riding in Cars with Boys. Her worst performance is in... Batman Forever? Where she doesn’t even register.

This is not a C+ episode. Even if you think it’s a little comfortable and safe, it lands all the pieces it’s been setting up. There’s nothing un-earned or out of place, even if you think it’s boring.

A list of 20 slashers you probably know. Some undeniable classics. A couple movies that are not slashers (The Strangers? Come on.) Kind of feels like a list from someone who doesn’t really like slashers very much.

I think he’s just one of those guys that runs hot and cold. Can be the absolute best, but then can be a prick on the turn of a dime.

Yeah. You don’t have to congratulate her or anything. She should not have done it in the first place, but also, she did what was asked. What more do people want? I know that rage and anger is the lifeblood of a certain segment of the internet, but enough already.

Al is a notorious pussy hound.

I think Linklater underestimates how boring the internet has become and will continue to become. AI will become boring. Handcrafted art, warts and all, is evergreen.

I also would not want my music associated with a climate-change-denying eugenicist who likes to gobble up 45's balls and butthole.

See? This one gets it.

Actually, worm Hitler will make $2.5 billion worldwide.

A decade later, I’ll still stump for the unedited fourth season of Arrested Development. Incredibly funny and clever, if a bit sad, and even if it takes some time to get going. Season five, however, is pretty bad, especially the final episode.

If you want to get into Taylor Swift’s deal, Red and 1989 are probably the best place to start, but her best albums, in my opinion, are her 2020 one-two punch of folklore and evermore.

Without saying anything that happens, it’s a mixture of treatment, the banality of dysfunctional bureaucracy, and the incredibly restrained filmmaking that Wiseman is known for. You don’t forget any part of it.

I’ve gotta hand it to AVC: Titicut Follies is an inspired number one. Undoubtedly one of the most upsetting movies ever made. Saw it at a rep screening years ago, knowing only that it was a Frederick Wiseman film, and, uhhh... Jesus Christ. Pretty fucked up!
