I am sure that there are some people taking it to the extreme, but I feel like a lot of people are just having fun and being silly. I don’t think the OP is saying that they become full social workers. Social workers get a lot of training, such as Trauma Informed Care, etc. If our EMTs and police officers had to get similar training that would help a lot. They would understand what is going on more.
