That’s not how tax credits work. Its not other people’s money, it’s your own money that you get to keep. If your tax burden is less than the credit, you don’t get other people’s money, the credit goes unclaimed.

I hate to break it to you, there is no “up front cost savings” when using the EV tax credit. You still pay for the full price of the car up front. You don’t get the tax credit until you file your taxes and you receive your refund.

Cooper is the sporty engine level for Mini. Like GTI, M or AMG. However, the lower powered versions aren’t available in the US so ‘Cooper’ seems mandatory. But it’s not, not globally.

More than ever you should see the point. This a company that is at the pinnacle of F1 engine development and is looking to put that technology and knowledge to use in a road going car. This car is the foundation for the packaging and knowledge for Mercedes EV and ICE cars in the future.
