In my experience (sample size: 1), Changli owners seem to be incredibly enthusiastic but also very likeable.

Are you kidding? Car people can’t be with car people. I have 75% of the parking at my place and...cars are expensive. I can barely scrape together the money to fund my pursiuts.

If you think science is political, you need to really step back and reconsider what words actually mean. Or maybe start by learning what they mean.

Indeed. Possibly the best headline to ever appear on this site.

You should have stopped at: “Look, grabbing people and putting them in unmarked cars is not ok, and should be illegal.”

So if some hyper-aggressive men in civilian clothing ran up, surrounded you, and forced you into an unmarked vehicle, you’d be cool with that?

Fuck you.

Do you lick the boot or do you also suck on it too? Like whats your technique.

Also, the negative partisanship is the reason we have no empathy anymore...and when you can look at this an be like “cool” then our democracy is fucking dead.

With all due respect, I think you’ll find the vast majority of homeowners do not want to look out at a neighbor’s salvage yard. If instead of going to the city someone had knocked on your door and asked you to get rid of half your inoperative vehicles, would you really have done it?

“Appearing operational”

“I’ll end up with about twenty grand in my pocket”

None of what you said makes any sense to me. They sold over 1.5 million of the things, I would expect the vast majority to consumers rather than rental fleets (I’ve rented 100s of times in last 5 years, never even seen an Edge on the lot).
