James Earl Jones and Estelle Parsons played a married couple who claimed to have seen aliens in the fact-based 1975 tv movie "The UFO Incident". I was surprised at the time, because I assumed that no blacks had experienced UFOs.

I understand: I was also unsure about the whole alien conspiracy story. And the lizard thing made it seem like a comedic retelling of "V".

My husband is from Beacon, and before he watched the first episode, I told him it was filmed in Ontario. After watching he said it must have been filmed elsewhere because no church like that exists in Beacon (and he's an architect).

You're right: I'd love to see Lip and Trevor going hot & heavy.

The intro of Trevor proves to me that Ian should have slept with a trans man instead of a cis woman.

You should: it's excellent. I think John Huston directed. They sometimes cover obscure roles in these interviews, which is why I was surprised they didn't mention it.

No mention of Wise Blood? It's (I believe) his only starring role, and his best performance.

I think he's hotter now as a hairy daddy, but I remember the rosy-lipped teen. I heard Burt Reynolds was pissed when JRF started getting attention on "Evening Shade".

Lots of shows are only watchable when originally broadcast. Add "Cheers" to the list with "Scrubs" and "Earl".

The less said about season 9 ("Scrubs:The New Class") the better. Excluding, of course, that lovely Dave Franco, and Eliza Coupe.

He was doing a house flipping reality show, like Vanilla Ice. Don't know if it's still on.

…or hustling in gay bars, but that's wishful thinking on my part.

Always.

Oh, nnoooo!

Somewhere Jennifer Anniston is smiling.

A dissenting opinion only becomes racist or misogynist when focusing on her looks or color.

You might say we have a little bit of Uter in all of us.

I read that David Crosby was one of the hopefuls auditioning.

Unfolding in real (reel?) time may help: e.g. The Set-Up.
