For my money, Freaky Deaky has the best opening chapter to any Elmore Leonard novel. And what I find interesting, it is a chapter that really has nothing to do with the novel's plot. Just an introduction. I think there was a brief mention to it later in the novel, but Booker and Juicy Mouth ("Suppose to be guarding my

There were a lot of fucks on Feud. Some on American Crime Story. I want to say there were some on Atlanta.

Does anyone know what that last shot was? It looked like a bear or something.

Viewing Hannibal as taking place in a very heightened reality makes it easier to suspend your disbelief. Most of the time, what's happening around the episodic serial killers is more important to the overall story than the killers themselves. The killers mostly tie into the story in a thematic way. I think Bryan

Wait… are you saying Jaws is terrible or am I reading you wrong.

Nah. Just do what I'm probably going to do and just watch this one.

Oh man. I think The Sweed has become one of my favorite side characters in any show. He is so wonderfully crazy. His arc in season 3 constantly left me wondering what the hell was going on. "OK. What are you doing with this family? Oh, now you're playing hide n' seek with the boy. That's kind of creepy. No. No. Put

I've been watching Hell on Wheels for the past week or two.

I don't really want to be one of "those guys" that annoys a person to watch a movie that they are not that interested in in. After all, I would hate to be the source of someone hating a movie because they just got tired of hearing people badger them to watch a movie because "it is an incredible movie. You just got

Is there even such a thing as an "accurate accent?" I'm from Minnesota. I don't talk like this (although I do catch myself using some of the iconic catchphrases). Of course, I could never tell a "bad accent" from a "good one." Everyone has their own way of speaking.

I don't know where I would rank this with the previous two season premieres. I know this episode will definitely need a re-watch because a lot of information was kind of thrown at us - character names and relationships and the normal table setting elements.

I really liked it. It maybe could have been shortened a little, but I'm glad the show is back. It is only the first episode people. Let's not get too worried. Even season 2 started out a little slow.

Apparently the script got turned in to HBO. So… maybe.

The answer is Deadwood.

I felt the same way about Hap and Leonard. It felt like it could have been a good replacement for Justified. And the elements were all there, but I don't think the writers knew how to bring those elements together at that time. But I heard season 2 is better so I might go back.

Each season is a new story so you shouldn't be lost in jumping right in with Season 3.

But he died. This takes place after season 1.

I know I'm responding to a 5 year old post, but I think that is fucking bullshit. I cared more about the supporting cast of The Shield than all of the supporting cast in those other shows you mentioned - except for Deadwood.

Jeremy Davies won for season 3. Still pisses me off that Neal McDonough didn't even get nominated.

Nope. Everyone who disappeared reappears, and we'll never find out why. At least, I think that would be interesting (this coming from a guy who has only seen 5 episodes and isn't sure he will continue - not because its bad, but because it is too damn depressing).
