I don't think they were too many standoffs. I LOVE the standoffs. They make me miss Justified so much! But i can see an argument being made that they could have been spread out a little.

I'm actually liking this season a little more than last, and i loved last season. I think i like it more because we don't have a weaselly guy like Lester or a force-of-nature like Malvo. They already did that in season 1. There is no need to repeat themselves.
