Wait till you get to the season 2 finale!

First time. Surprised at how good it is. Even in the first season, the characters feel "lived in" if you know what I mean.

Damn did Hannibal end on a high note! I too like season one a bit more even though season 2 was freaking awesome. I think it was the claustrophobic feel to everything. The sense of everything closing in on the main character while Hannibal plays with Will's mind like it was putty.

They're both great shows. I don't know which show was better but I enjoyed Fargo a bit more.

I would also recommend Double Feature by King's other son Owen.

I just read Moby Dick for college and I had the opposite reaction to it. There were some … less interesting parts (such as the chapter devoted to the whale species) ,,, but the way we talked about it in class kind of blew my mind at what Melville managed to do with the book.

But that don't mean he's gone from this show.

As for art I SHOULD like but don't is Game of Thrones. I find it incredibly boring.

I can totally see why some people don't like Hannibal. It is an incredibly dark show.
