So why did you keep watching?
So why did you keep watching?
That's the 3DS release date.
Stop saying it's what the show gave us. It is not what the show gave us. It is not presented in the show the way you have presented it on this thread. It's your personal interpretation of the evidence. You are deluded if you think otherwise.
Another assumption! Do you know Bryke on a personal level? Do you have a psychic connection to them and know their motivations intimately? Unless you do, you can not argue their motivations for choosing to end the show the way they did.
They're a very quiet group in this argument, that's for sure. Being detached from their physical bodies violates no rules previously established in the Avatar series. You may not like it as an explanation, but it's a sound one within the established rules. Fact.
Most of it does actually. Your interpretation of the finale as not being a victory of team Korra. Your interpretation of what losing her connection to her past lives means. Your interpretation of the nature of spirits and humans. The vast majority of the things we've argued about have come down to your personal…
Kind of. Most of my criticism is with his criticism. Some of my criticism is with his method and format of criticism. Being unable to acknowledge his own contradictions or understand that many of his issues stem from a personal interpretation that hasn't been proven to be correct being my biggest gripes.
Again, we don't know what Nick were trying to accomplish with this move. It may be a bad move on your scale but a success or another.
Indeed. I'm not saying I'm 100% in sync with the show either. We just seem to handle that differently.
It is an assumption, because you are drawing a conclusion to an issue that the show hasn't finished exploring. What do you think the whole point of the finale was? To explore that exact issue in the following season(s).
I'd say you're unbalanced.
You are the only person who doesn't seem to think that 'being detached from their physical bodies' doesn't make sense.
That honestly doesn't make sense. How can she no longer be the reincarnation of Aang? That's like saying you are your mother's son until someone kills your mother. I don't get your argument at all.
1) Explain exactly what you think 'destroyed the Avatar line' means.
Criticise away! Please, don't let me stop you. All I'm saying is that you and the show may not be as in sync as you once were.
Except when it says otherwise. Jinora and Iroh's experience with the spirit world are big arguments that coexistence is an option. The point is that you are trying to argue that a problem is black and white when it is evidently grey. And that is why the finale is interesting. The outcome of this decision will make for…
It could say a bit about your mental and emotional wellbeing. Or at least your emotional maturity. I state again, this is just a TV show. Even if it is one of your favourites, punching a hole in the wall is considered by most to be an excessive reaction.
Sure. Unprecedented even. But that's not something we can really judge as being good or bad at this point in time.
Their connection of communication, yes. That doesn't make them any less the reincarnation of that same soul though. I'm not going to argue this point again. Many people have made it already, but you don't seem to grasp it as even a possibility. You'd rather be angry at what you think the show is trying to force upon…
It's a connection of communication to her past life that is gone. No human ever had that connection until the Avatar, but they were still reincarnations of their past lives. They were still the same soul. Please understand that you are the only person on here reading the text in the way that you are.
