They can’t have two major female characters?
I assumed Leah Remini was his new wife, but apparently they’re not together yet. What’s the point of killing off his first wife, then? They can’t have two major female characters?
Blanchard and Davis were both excellent in the TV one. Such a sad story.
That little record player with the Golden Books is absolutely the sound of my childhood. I used to spend hours in my rooms listening to those things, including the Jungle Book soundtrack.
Kevin Smith is not a great filmmaker, but he has always tried—with varying degrees of success—to feature women in really positive, and semi-progressive ways in his films. You should pretty much always be on their side in his movies. So, this feels really earned, at least.
Rosenberg’s hyphen usage seems suspect.
That was pretty epic. That’s all I can say.
Let’s not overlook the Waylon Smithers’ Dancers.
I was born in 1969, grew up during the Brady’s television reign. I remember watching these shows with my parents, trying to convince my mom that wasn’t the “real Jan Brady”, but a different actress.
I do have to say, though, that I’m pretty tired of Jason already. I don’t need him to be smarter, but none of his dumbness is funny. There’s gotta be something more creative there with his lines. More than anything I feel like he just is kind of in the way in episodes.
Imagine retooling a show and having Kevin James be the part of what you keep.
I’m more worried about Jack Black playing the uncle. He’s too young, and I don’t trust him to play the role straight (it is *not* a comedic character).
I let out an audible gasp when I read that headline. I had no idea any talks were in place to adapt this book into a movie. I LOVE JOHN BELLAIRS.
Classic Hoff.
The Hoff doesn’t miss a chance to make a plug!
Yes, Diane is...livin’ on Tulpa time.
More evidence for the coma theory: take the first two letters of “contract” and first two of “marriage” and what do you get?
Happy to star, you pretty much covered all the big points about this ep. Well done.(Also, man, fuck Kinja.)
Happy to star. I had many of the same feelings and questions. I love the Mitchum brothers. I don’t know why. But I do. And I’m worried about Becky. Well, more like sad about her because I’m pretty sure she’s gone. I thought Richard’s death was long coming and perfect. Diane being a Tulpa was unexpected, although come…
Just move the monuments to Kinja. Nobody will ever see them again
