You are both a sadist and a masochist, but I love you anyways.

*puts on Barry White and a recording of a jackhammer simultaneously*

Congratss to Jennifer Carpenter, no longer married to a guy who portrays her brother on television. Sorry about Limitless, I really enjoyed it and had been looking forward to season 2 - your character on NZT was fun.

The legal immigration part is not the problem, is that he called people criminals and rapists. That’s a shitty blanket statement to say, yet people were all for it. You know damn well what that looks like.

You are a thing of great beauty.

“Welcome home,” the roach said to its new companion. “I have traveled far and wide - from the toilet to the garbage, to the wilds underneath the couch - and now I have found you, Donald.”

If you have the time; I suggest watching “Er ist Wieder das(Look Who’s Back)“. A fantastically poignant and funny German film about Hitler literally reappearing in modern day Germany.

Ewwww, staaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahp

#notalllatinas think he’s a great monster! Some of us think he’s a flatulant small handed impotent monster who has to wear diapers at night and cries in the shower, who only messes up facts because he never learned to read and only hates brown people because he’s never properly figured out how to tan his skin enough,

She has to save something for the next article.

a hunk of beef jerky that rolls under the couch and is left there to harden, becoming covered in dust and cat hair until a cockroach takes it back to its lair and makes it his wife

Joanna, please describe how the cockroach would make this hunk of jerky its wife.

California has some sweet benefits (pregnancy disability leave pay through state disability insurance) but that’s not one of them. We paid out of pocket for two medicated IUIs and had already paid $7,000 for IVF but found out at my first ultrasound that I was actually already pregnant. They refunded my money.

Hey Bobby-

I feel that, my husband was the same way. It took 2.5 years and I had some painful surgery and medicine to treat my endometriosis. My family knows but his still doesn’t. Luckily we got pregnant before paying for IVF.

As a DH that has dealt with this, I second the thought on a series. It’s rough for everyone involved. You’re not alone; neither is he.

I feel you. Boyfriend and I are both ambivalent on the subject as it relates to the future. But are a hard NOPE for right now.

of course her epidural didnt work. of course. those things are a myth, I think, same thing happened to mine. having gone through no epidural, and a c section... I think she went through enough trauma, cesarean would have been the most humane option.

Exactly. I have a friend who, at 28 weeks, was told her baby had died. She had to go into hospital —- to the maternity wing no less—- and endure an induction and traditional delivery. Her husband, ironically a physician, could not handle it, so I sat with her. She was not treated with any sort of compassion by staff,

It’s crazy common to have miscariages and infertility and think you don’t know anyone else who has gone through it because nobody talks about it. I’m kind of shocked that Jezebel hasn’t done a series on it given how many different reasons there are for infertility and means of treatment.
