I agree with this - why go to a place that’s openly hostile to the US? I’m not victim blaming, but at the same time, I wouldn’t go to a place where I know I’m not (really) welcome.

I just requested the two oldest novels of hers in our system: ‘The Days of Abandonment’ and ‘Troubling Love’. Sure enough, my library doesn’t carry anything written by her, and I only see that a few libraries in our consortium carry her works - but they’re being circulated, and that is always good.

At my particular library, NYT best seller books (usually) don’t seem to do well.

Truth be told, I don’t read the trades because I don’t work in Collection Development. I make sure that Collection Development has the resources so they can buy the stuff they want. I haven’t seen these books on shelf at the library that I work at, either, and according to the our ‘Patron Holds’ reports, I don’t see…
