That always goes back to the question I've had about the 'James Bond' franchise: is there a dude actually named 'James Bond', or are there agents selected to 'become' James Bond'? Because if there are agents who are selected, then take on that persona (and all it entails) then yes, Idris Elba COULD become 'James

Loved him in 'Wuthering Heights', and have been a die-hard Tom Hardy fan ever since. He's just...delicious AND a good actor. In that last pic - is all of that ink real? *swoon*

TYVM! I was going to make a crack about using that $900K to buy an Earth Mover to help him in his, um, 'digging' efforts, but couldn't make the magic happen.

Would look great on the toesies as a pedicure, though.

While in undergrad, one of my coworkers in the University LIBRARY (*high five*) had fairly neutral coloring - except for these big, BLUE, eyes. She always wore just the slightest touch of orange e/s on the lid, and it totally emphasized the blue in her eyes.

When you hit 'rock bottom', don't start to dig.

I agree 100% with the last sentence in your comment. Thank goodness for small favors, right?

That is, singlehandedly, the best description of the ending that I have read in awhile.

Hearting you for that statement. As a Public Services Librarian, I get asked questions about what to recommend to young readers, both male and female. I have been recommending the crap out of 'The Hunger Games' series. Some parents have been concerned about the content, and rightfully so...but when I explain to Moms

I have frequently said that if I am to be blessed with a daughter, I hope that she chooses to emulate Katniss - strong, loves her family, is a fighter, etc.

Lush DREAM CREAM. Spendy? Yes. Ultra soothing? Absolutely. Lovely stuff. I won't be without it - ever. I don't care what I have to do to get the funds to buy it, but I will never, ever be without my Lush DREAM CREAM.

IDK - I was wondering the same thing. According to the site, she was diagnosed and treated in 2006, then relapsed in 2009.

*hugs* I'll check out that website! Hearts for you, too!

I do, too. That's my personal fave.

I love it when people stand by their spouses/partners when they become ill. So frequently, I hear stories of them leaving, right when they're needed the most. <3

One of our nephews (who was around 3 years old) did the same to my husband. My husband, just looked at him, and said, 'Are you sure?' Completely deadpan.

Me, too! (Only as a movie. I have no ill will toward anyone. But that would be one spectacular flick!)

Plus, what about all those voters who have friends/family in Mexico, who work in the travel/tourism industry? Way to alienate yourself even further.

I took a cruise to the Yucutan Peninsula and Cozumel in December. It was lovely (and heartbreaking) at the same time. The tourism industry is key in Mexico, and they really need the revenue. Besides, I'm sure that President Obama, like all good, loving, caring, parents, wouldn't have let his daughter go if he thought

I almost spewed my iced tea on my monitor when I saw the 'BATTLE ROYALE' poster.
