Yes! I was dreading it at first, but once the pieces actually started getting put together, it made so much sense and they were great together. Even if they brought Daisy back, I’d be surprised if they had Sousa return, but man, it worked surprisingly well.

Just put Daisy Johnson/Chloe Bennet in Secret Invasion. Please. I’m begging you. Agents of Shield started rough, absolutely, but it got SO good and the characters deserve way more than Marvel’s giving them.

UGH SERIOUSLY. I have a friend who campaigned hard for her back in ~2009 or so and one of the biggest things he was excited about was that she’s bi and unafraid to be open about it. I thought that was great and still wanted to look at her policies and such instead of just voting off her being queer........ but

UGHHHHHHHHHH. It was way too expensive, that’s for sure, but it sounded really cool. And to my understanding, bookings were still decently full? They definitely fell, but not to alarming levels, from what I know.

Totally. I know a lot of gamers hate on the idea that game development costs have risen so game prices may need to go up to reflect that, but to my understanding, that’s the truth of the matter.

I’d be super interested in a breakdown of the actual cost of game dev along with the savings that companies have managed to figure out. Like, obviously game development, especially in the AAA sphere, has become way way way more expensive than ever before. You need more manpower over more time, and with inflation, you

Maybe she’ll somehow be able to wrangle things so that I’m not getting constant spam. Which I didn’t used to get until Elon started pulling all of his shit. Can we get rid of this creepy white supremacisty douchebag already?

Agreeeeeee. Sure, these are celebrities we don’t actually know—it’s completely possible Kelly Clarkson is a huge shitbag behind the scenes. But between Ellen’s hyper-cheerful schtick and “Kelly doesn’t know” coming from the victims (not Kelly herself), this article feels weird.

I mean, it’s not an “argument” to me lol. I personally don’t experience nearly as much of a difference between 30 and 60 FPS when it comes to gameplay as I do when framerates vary. (I can see the difference most of the time, but I don’t usually feel it in gameplay.)

Not at all, I don’t think! I mean, I do feel like some gamers make a huge deal about minor issues, to be fair - I see some people go ballistic over occasional minor frame-rate drops, for instance. There’s room for differing levels of sensitivity, too, but there’s a difference between “this game drops frames sometimes

I feel like there’s a difference between Ellen saying she had no clue and ex-employees specifically speaking up about poor treatment stating that Kelly Clarkson didn’t. It’s weird to compare Ellen’s claims to victims talking about Clarkson.

It’s weird they’re disabling light water as an option for the Refreshers - they can be pretty sweet. I get the upcharge for the no-water Refreshers, though; it’s literally double the amount of concentrate. You get two times the concentrate, if not more, for the price of one drink by gaming the customization options.

It’s been a long time since I’ve been to one, but I remember the food being just fine. Kind of typical chain restaurant stuff, though I do prefer Chili’s because they make their chicken strips in-house. Both of them make their cocktails way way way too sweet, though, even for my sugarfiend tastes.

ehhhhh I mean. I’d bet there’s a lot of stuff the devs could do (or do easier, depending) with more power. Limitations make for some creative solutions and can even help make some iconic moments, but it couldn’t hurt to have more oomph. The Switch tech was already a little outdated by the time it came out, iirc. I

I’m not sure it’s limited to PC gamers; we’ve always had people who have prioritized graphics over anything. Just look at the arguments about the PS1 versus the N64, even. Though nowadays I do feel like the 60-FPS-or-bust crowd has gotten louder and louder. Like, I can see the difference between 30 and 60 FPS most of

I’m a little surprised Kotaku’s referring to SkillUp, considering his former side channel with all the GamerGate content. Though he also seems to be getting more and more prominent, and I don’t think he’s pulled any GG bullshit lately from what I’d seen a little while back. The content itself seems thorough and

lol I think you might have meant this response to go to someone else - I was talking about your reaction to, well, reaction content, not copyright stuff.

Yeahhhh. I’d even get it if it was just a piece about Agron addressing the rumors in general, but the tone of it reads weird even as someone into fandom stuff. :/

Are the card grading services still ridiculously backed up? I kind of want to go through old boxes of stuff and see if I have any Pokemon cards in the hopes of finding something at all, with how terrible this job economy is going, but I remember checking during the height of the pandemic and the services were booked a

Can we not try to get celebs to out themselves and rely on stereotypes of lesbians as “evidence”?
