Actually I was just reading about underground ballet classes in the Middle East.

Not just the costumes, I wouldn’t expect the dance itself to conform to the standards of modesty any muslim conservative enough to wear a hijab needs to follow.

Ballet is all about the lines of the human body. Costumes are typically very tight in order to showcase those lines. It does seem like there would be a conflict with the modesty required by someone who practices the hijab.

That is so cool. And it makes me wonder if there are sports hijabs, like with moisture wicking and other properties found on modern athletic apparel.
