Not mentioned in this article, but Santorum has managed to coin a phrase on par with “alternative facts”.  In response to Trump’s admission of traitorous intent, he said “those were filler words”.

This would be the... 10th time.. I think? He’s admitted this in various ways in public at least that many times in the last 2 and 1/2 years.
