Very true. Ratings have never been higher when the “hate on trump” train started. An entire industry is now based on “OMG look what he did TODAY!!”

In any other “normal” crime investigation, when a large cohort of people who are linked to the “main target” are unequivocally judged to be guilty and thrown in jail... usually the term “where there’s smoke, there’s fire” is an apt metaphor to use.

Impeachment proceedings would have the effect of strengthening his base, but would also drown out his podium bravura for those who are on the fence or who voted for him because “he was an outsider” but weren’t listening to anything else. His stump speeches and twitter rants and mindspace would be fixated on the Witch…

How would anyone compel them to pay their fine? Herr Mango would drag ghouliani out of his crypt to publicly blather on about how pardons are universal things and nobody has to pay a fine if trump says they don’t need to or something.

So true - The gravy train that Trump has enabled for the people in Congress is soooooo good and savory that the mere idea that ANYthing could make Trump a “liability” is silly.

Good point! but... its a drug. So drugs are used. All the time. Some drugs are more hardcore than others, and an enlisted person on the front-lines will be kept off the front lines if they have a problem that needs hardcore meds... yet they are still in the military.

Do you know what happens to asthmatic on the front lines without their albuterol?
