Yes, I do realise that we get the same messages from society as straight people get. That is my point, we get the same messages, we are raised in the same society and many of us get married and live happy and equal lives. So where is the indication that marriage is at fault here?

How do you explain same sex marriage then? Esp. When two men get married, is that the result of them getting the idea of marriage drilled into them since birth?
