Yeah, no, then I’ve got nothing.
My first thought was mice. When I’ve lived in mouse-infested houses, I’ve found all kinds of weird shit in all kinds of weird places.
It could very well be! Just because it’s not me, doesn’t mean it’s not you!
This happens to me all the time. And while I know that it’s coincidence, I enjoy pretending that I just have some really powerful energy that fucks with streetlights.
Eighteen years for a 10-pound cat is like 92 human years. I know because my last one died at 18.
Yes! I Iike to raise one eyebrow and ever so slightly curl my lip while maintaining silent direct eye contact for four seconds. Works every time.
You know the form I’m talking about, though, right? It comes after I’ve filed my application but before interview invitations. It specifically says that my filling it out has no bearing on my application. Often it takes postcard form.
My family’s narrative, on both sides, is that we’re half-French and half-Irish.
I know that there are some serious problems—and some serious history—in Japan, but damn, Japanese popular culture seems fun.
Wait. What?

Note how the establishment Republicans stand up to clap at common-sense statements, while the newcomers sit on their hands out of reflex.
“Her eyes are eyes. They come in all shapes and colors and abilities.”
Excellent advice, especially the “ask questions” part. Sometimes, when students are stumped by a question, they’ll think about it for a while, having conversations with you in their heads, trying to justify their positions. That’s good. That’s education.
I like to think that your aunt’s name is Sharon. Because “No shit, Sharon” sounds awesome.
