Yes absolutely but the media also played up Tonya as the “no class trash” while praising Nancy for her class and elegance. They absolutely pitted them against each other in very black and white stereotypes.

It’s terrible casting. She’s way too fine-boned and princess-looking. The filmmakers should have put priority on finding someone who could deliver the accent and the look. They’re crucial in this story.

I’m flashing back too! I do remember hating Nancy Kerrigan, though, for the entitled annoyance that she was. I mean, I felt bad for her, but I felt bad for Tonya Harding too. They were both rather terrible, actually.

He directed Lars and the Real Girl too! I’m here for it.

It could replace “The Betty Broderick Story” in my heart.
