I recently was working in a position where I met with several cops and their families. More than half were the nicest guys in the world and great family men and women. The others were really jerks.

If you can hire someone, DO IT! My ex-husband was hoarding and I had flown to the mid-western city he now lives in because my son was there having back surgery (insurance issues). I was staying with his mother and the hoarding suddenly became a huge because he was in treatment and had been evicted from his apartment.

I did that one too! Once I forgot 2 days in a row for my oldest and had the Admin call her as the tooth and apologize.

I love Chicago, if it had better weather it would be the best place to live in the world! I used to eat at the restaurant in the art museum, I worked in a high rise next to it. It was great. But the older I get, the harder it is to handle the cold.

I was there when they told my mother. I'm sure I looked the same. We had a lot of good years, but the slide is relentless and inevitable. My mother lived with me until the last 6 months and should have been in care 6 months before that.

The tilted uterus really doesn't mean you can't get pregnant or see a fetus on an ultrasound... I have one and had 4 children and one miscarriage. The only time that my tilted uterus came into the picture was when I had a hysterectomy. I think that she desperately wanted to be pregnant.

The change in air pressure may have had something to do with it. Usually doctors advise not flying at all in the last few months.
