My favorite is the basic Microsoft Intellimouse Optical. I've had one for at least 5 years and have yet to get rid of it. It has two large buttons on each side, making them extremely easy to press, unlike other side buttons on mice. The side buttons are very important to me because I use them very frequently to go

This is so genius. I can't even count the amount of times I've sent an email without an attachment. I just wish Outlook would detect it.

Do people really browse their music by album cover? Apple really seems to push that with cover flow and the grid. With digital music, I just don't pay attention to the cover art enough to be able to browse my music that way.

I got a job 5 minutes away and picked out a Corolla when my old car needed repairs that cost more than it was worth.

I think they're clutter. I hide them and use google reader for my news.

I don't understand why this has been posted all over the net as some cool iPhone trick, when really, you can do it on any phone with AIM. Silly iPhone hype! (And I say this as a devoted iPhone fan!)

@dorylomorphs: I used to feel the same way, but (imo) Firefox 3 is just as good as Safari.

MathType because I need it for work and the Windows version works a little better for my needs.

@BethanyBoo: I also wanted to mention that I use the Bloglines beta - so, the real question is: google reader or bloglines beta?

Hmm, I had only switched to bloglines because of its awesome iPhone interface. Now I'm considering switching back to Google Reader. What do you all think - google reader or bloglines?

I've had my aluminum apple keyboard since September and it still looks great. (And I even eat at my desk!) I agree with the folks who think there's no need for a crusade against bacteria so I think I'll let it be. (Side note: I very rarely get sick, and I do many of the things that the germ freaks advise against!)

I handcode in BBEdit and set up keyboard shortcuts for all the tags I use frequently. I also have a clippings library for each project I work on for different elements of pages.

Great idea! The icon in the dock was bugging me as well, and I agree that it belongs in Finder.

What a waste of vodka!

I find that lectures are very worthwhile for me, but reading the book is almost always a waste of time. I'll skim the book so I can have a little bit of an understanding before class, but I learn best from the lecture, which is almost always a repeat of everything you read in the book.

Between being a student with taxable scholarship money and being self-employed, I find it way too complicated to do my taxes, so I go to H&R.

It's good enough for me. I use time machine and occasionally manually do DVD backups. Unfortunately I haven't started giving those DVDs so someone who lives elsewhere, but I will in the future. In fact, maybe I should do that this weekend. :P

Well, I have an iMac so that helps quite a bit. :) But I also have the ikea cord management thing underneath my desk. I run all of my power cords under there, and keep my USB hub and eyeTV in the ikea rack as well.
