I spent two years in Bahrain with COMUSNAVCENT and later, COMFIFTHFLEET, so of course I have a few things to say.

I hate it when at new car auto shows or a DOTS type show, anyone touches a car. My son (who turned seven last week) has been taught since the age of two DO NOT TOUCH!

What I want is one of those in-rearview mirror radar detectors you can get. Anyone had any luck with those?

I was stationed at Dam Neck for my OS "A" and "C" schools, plus the wait for a passport before I left for Bahrain. NAS Oceana is a magical and wonderful place (especially for a young, but legal girl). I'll never forget the kind people and the many wonderful nights spent on the strip followed by runs to Checkers.
